Growth Specialist (short-term consultancy)
Reboot is a rapidly growing NY-based consulting firm specializing in governance and international development work. In recent months, demand for our services has grown swiftly, and we are now increasingly administering large, multi-vendor contracts. Our small team needs to grow rapidly to capitalize on the demand we’re facing. Our current recruitment processes are limited to inbound application: we are not optimized to actively generate leads and target ideal candidates. To address this major constraint on growth we are now seeking immediate support from an experienced Growth Specialist to help grow our family of highly talented and mission-driven professionals.
Responsibilities:
This consultant will be asked to work closely with our management and operations teams as they work to expand our organizational capacity to recruit talent. Specifically, we’re looking for an individual capable of:
- understanding our unique growth path and further refining our staffing plans and model.
- identifying and actively recruiting relevant talent leads from across our target market, including outreach to non-soliciting professionals.
- managing the initial screening and interviewing of candidates.
- maintaining a database of potential future staff and consultants that may benefit future periods of growth.
- negotiating and providing strategic guidance on compensation and benefits packages.
- developing an in-house recruiting system and strategy for continued growth after completion of assignment.
Level of Effort:
We have a strong executive management and operations teams who can quickly move forward once provided with the appropriate inputs and guidance. We expect the consultant to spend approximately two months of part- or full-time engagement, working closely with our relevant staff members to help acquire the first tier of critical hires, and develop the necessary strategic plans and operational systems to continue building growth over time. If a longer engagement or more specific deliverables are determined necessary, this ToR can be amended. There is also the potential for downstream advisory services as our organization continues to scale and/or the possibility of evolving into a full-time Director of Personnel.
Timeline:
The ideal candidate will be able to start work from our New York City offices no later than Monday, May 27. If possible for the consultant, work could begin on Monday, May 20.
