The Reboot Team

Production Assistant

Yan supports Reboot’s operations, communications, and visual design work. She provides wide-ranging assistance on everything from knowledge management tools to social media and photo production. She also contributes to the look and feel of Reboot’s creative outputs.

A multi-disciplinary visual communicator, Yan created compelling print and digital design products for a range of public, private, and nonprofit organizations before joining Reboot. At her alma mater, Mount Holyoke College, she designed the visual identity for Crafting a Life in the Arts, an annual career event for students interested in the arts. At 451 Marketing, Yan helped design posters, brochures, and websites for a range of clients, including The National Network to End Domestic Violence and Graphique de France.

Earlier, Yan helped oversee social media at Couchange.org, an online fundraising platform for nonprofits. During Couchange’s participation in the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, her efforts on Twitter reached over 60,000 users in three days, raising $20,000 for the China-based nonprofit Dream Corps.

Yan is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she focused on architectural studies and economics. A native Mandarin Chinese speaker and proficient “archibabbler,” Yan is also fluent in English and can hold her own in French and Italian.
