The Reboot Team

Associate

Nonso is Reboot Nigeria’s master networker. He is responsible for the operational planning and coordination of research activities exploring community power dynamics, institutional relationships, and community governance.

Nonso brings Reboot a diverse background in program management, research, and entrepreneurship. As a program manager with Herock Nigeria, he helped establish and staff training centers for an economic empowerment initiative targeting rural women in Edo State. The program, which was sponsored by the Niger Delta Development Commission, provided skills acquisition and ongoing support in the areas of tailoring, catering, and beadmaking, among others. As a researcher with Caerus Associates, Nonso conducted a series of community stakeholder analyses for the World Bank exploring the effects of infrastructure improvements on urban crime rates.

An entrepreneur at heart, Nonso has launched a series of his own ventures. In 2009, he organized “ICT and the Nigerian,” a basic computer literacy training program he designed. The program attracted over 200 participants and support from the Directorate of ICT in Edo State. He has also launched successful food delivery and mobile phone spare parts businesses. Nonso began his career as a geologist with the construction company Loh & Or.

Nonso is a graduate of the University of Calabar, where he studied geology. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Benin. He speaks Pidgin, Ibo, and conversational Bini.
