Osione manages Reboot’s growing country office in Nigeria, with a primary focus on enhancing social accountability in the Niger Delta. He contributes to all aspects of program management, stakeholder engagement, and operations management in the region.
Osione has had a dual-track career that is equal parts political economy and marketing. In New York City, he developed an analytic framework for the Morgan Stanley Capital Index to measure the political risk of labor standards across 58 key investments countries. Earlier, he led a strategy team at FCB Impact in Lagos, Nigeria, to design a nationwide marketing campaign for Skye Bank. He has also managed executive leadership and training programs at Nigeria’s Ecological Fund Office, reporting directly to the Permanent Secretary.
A regular publisher, writer, and editor, Osione served as a member of the editorial board of Columbia University’s Journal of International Affairs. Currently, he pens his thoughts on African politics, economics, and policy making in African Journal of Economics, an online journal he founded.
Osione is a graduate of Baylor University and holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He speaks conversational Yoruba and makes a mean T-shirt design.
