Patrick steers the Reboot ship. He directs all logistics, systems, and planning related to day-to-day operations and fieldwork.
An experienced film and television producer, Patrick managed creative and operational teams across China for a variety of international productions prior to joining Reboot. While at Fly Films, a Shanghai-based production company, Patrick was part of the core team that conceptualized and delivered Shanghai Rush, one of China’s first reality television series. His production credits also include a late-night talk show broadcast to more than 30 countries and management of an 80-person crew to produce The Amazing Race: China Rush.
Patrick is an accomplished visual storyteller and researcher. While in China, he produced Circus World, an independent documentary about a traveling acrobatics troupe. Earlier, Patrick researched the environmental effects and behaviors associated with excessive engine idling for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Operations in preparation for the rollout of PlaNYC. Patrick similarly researched youth awareness of and attitudes toward environmental sustainability for Wieden + Kennedy.
The sole Rebooter born and raised in New York City, Patrick is a graduate of New York University’s Metropolitan Studies program. He also studied at the East China Normal University in Shanghai and speaks Mandarin Chinese. Patrick serves on the Young Professional Board for Educators 4 Excellence. Patrick makes a mean bloody mary and remains nostalgic for the summers he spent tending bar at the 79th Street Boat Basin on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
