Sam is a visual communications designer with a love of culture, language, and problem solving. Her work spans print, digital, social media storytelling, and motion graphics.
Sam’s passion for understanding visual, written, and oral communication led her to focus her interdisciplinary education on Design and Linguistics, culminating in a BHA from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to Reboot, Sam created an interactive public art piece and subsequent community campaign on the role of fear in modern American society. She also conducted independent research in Morocco on migration which focused on telling the stories of unheard migrants.
In Pittsburgh, she spent time leading arts and crafts and reading time with young children through a student organization and through Pittsburgh Cares. She looks forwards to finding new opportunities in New York City to put her pumpkin painting skills to use.
